Centro de Navegación

The CENTRO DE NAVEGACION (CN) is a civilian, non profit organization founded on May 9, 1900 by a group of local representatives of shipping lines which at that time covered the River Plate traffic. Its original name was "CENTRO DE NAVEGACION TRANSATLANTICA", but later the name was changed to the current "Centro de Navegación", which better reflects the wide range of activities covered by the entity, not just limited to the overseas shipping activity. Currently it represents almost one hundred organizations involved in the shipping industry, among them foreign and Argentine shipping lines, shipping agencies and other companies related to the industry.
